I would not have selected a house like this for this private selection if there were not such a strong spirit and sense of permanence behind its present appearance. Beyond the renovation.
The house is from another time, and that is precisely where its value lies — the stone, the veranda, the garden, the proportions, the closeness to the sea. All of it can be kept and taken to an altogether different level.
What matters most, though, is the position. A detached house on the front line, with its own garden, garages and four en-suite bedrooms, is by now an almost impossible combination.
